Passion for Nature

Ever since I was a young boy, I have had a deep appreciation for nature. The forests and landscapes around me have always meant a great deal to me.

As I grew older, I became fascinated by finding solutions to the challenges we face, both in nature and in everyday life. One such challenge has been discovering ways to preserve and extend the lifespan of the products we create from the natural resources our environment provides.

This passion led me to pursue a career as a chemical engineer.

In the late 1990s, while completing my degree, I worked on my thesis at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. It was there that the first formulations for our ceramic-reinforced, water-based surface treatments were developed, with the goal of reducing environmental impact without compromising quality.


These original formulations became the foundation of the surface treatment products we manufacture today in my hometown of Jörlanda, located on Sweden’s Bohus Coast.

Today, we produce ceramic-reinforced surface treatment systems for wood, plastic, linoleum, and many other materials. Our products help extend the service life of flooring materials around the world, reducing energy and material consumption while saving both time and costs compared with frequent floor replacement.
