Certified Contractor

Preperation

Strip the floor of any wax, polish, glue, sacrificial wear layers, and potential contaminants introduced during the installation to ensure adhesion with our coating system. All contaminants should be removed and may require stripping more than once.

Application

Apply primer and top coat using a 10mm roller.

For light traffic floors, one layer of topcoat is sufficient but we recommend laying down single coats a little heavier (70g/m²).

Apply 1 or 2 additional coats for higher-traffic floors in a crosswise fashion to better ensure complete coverage. When more than 1 layer is applied, slightly thinner layers are recommended (50g/m²).

Cure

If coating with UVElite RES, cure with a UV-light machine.

Ensure that the moisture level of the floor has returned to with +1% of background values before curing.
